Hédène Fir Honey has a delicate and woody aroma, with subtle blackberry and maple syrup overtones. It's a unique monofloral honey harvested in specific French regions. Hédène fir honey is rare, delicate, and appreciated by refined epicures.

Harvested in the Joux Forest, in South Jura, at the heart of one of the most beautiful pinewoods of France. The very noble taste wavers between woody, ripe fruits and maple syrup overtones.

Hédène Fir Honey is great any time of day. It can be used on bread, hot milk or tea, charcuterie boards, roasted nuts or meats. 

CHEESE PAIRING NOTES: Creamy, wild and woody, mont d’or rises in this tone on tone match : similar textures melting in the mouth, when woody and resinous aromas (spruce for cheese, fir for honey) are in perfect harmony. However, tasting remains original : fir honey first dominates but then cheese comes back forcefully, with more intense aromas than when it is tasted alone. Milky and buttered overtones are particularly enhanced.
